Arkadiusz Kawa, PhD, director of Research Network Łukasiewicz – The Institute of Logistics and Warehousing, an author of over 300 scientific, didactic, and popularization papers dealing with logistics, e-commerce, IT and business network. He has delivered many projects for organisations, such as: Volkswagen, Landmark (bPost), Poczta Polska (Polish Post), GS1, Deloitte, AT Kearney, KPMG, BCG, Merlin.pl, SGB-Bank, NaviExpert.

He was an expert in “Digital Economy, Innovation, and East Asia’s Competitiveness in GVCs” project of Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA). He is principal investigator of the “Value network creation in e-commerce in terms of logistics and marketing” project.

He is member of the Working Group on National Smart Specialization (Environmentally friendly transport solutions) at the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology in Poland and a member of the Wielkopolska Smart Specialization Forum (Specialized logistic processes) at the Marshall Office of the Wielkopolska Region. He is an expert in the Vocational Competence Certificate programme and the author of educational materials for the profession of a logistician.

He is a lecturer at postgraduate studies in Logistics and International Supply Chains Management; e-Commerce at Poznań University of Economics and Business. He also teaches Supply Chain Management at Gdańsk University of Technology and International Logistics at Wrocław University of Economics.
